Fungal Nail Infection (Onychomycosis)

Once you have a nail fungal infection, it can be the main cause of infection in other nails, even spreading to the other hand or foot. This is dependent on the size and extremity of the infection. Although our laser treatment is extremely effective, it can take numerous sessions to fully kill the fungus.

Also, because the infected nail material must grow out naturally, you will not see clear nails until the growth period is complete. How long it will take to remove the infection really does depend on how fast your nail grows and how many sessions our specialists recommend.

Regularly cleanse and exfoliate your toes to remove any dead skin cells that may be helping any fungus. It’s best to also do this the night before your treatment.
